CO2 purification
To obtain very pure, food quality CO2, AXIMA REFRIGERATION FRANCE designs and manufactures gaseous CO2 purification units. AXIMA REFRIGERATION FRANCE is an expert in design of CO2 compression, purification, liquefaction, stockage end vaporisation equipment.
AXIMA REFRIGERATION can process CO2 from very various sources :
- Breweries / distilleries and sparkling water sources
- Chemistry and petrochemistry and industrial gases
- CO2 ice manufacture
- CO2 generator
Whatever the source of the CO2 that you wish to process, contact us and we will quickly study your request.
BREWERIES / DISTILLERIES AND SPARKLING WATER SOURCES
AXIMA REFRIGERATION FRANCE installations allow CO2 produced during alcoholic fermentation (e.g. beer, wine and spirits manufacture, etc) or from a sparkling mineral water source to be processed and purified. These reliable and robust units are in operation throughout the world. After processing, the obtained CO2 will be very pure and food quality grade. The CO2 purification capacity of the units varies from tens kg/h to several t/h.

CHEMISTRY / INDUSTRIAL GASES
Production of some products, for instance fertilizers, emits a high quantity of CO2 (by-product) containing impurities, variable in composition and quantity. AXIMA REFRIGERATION FRANCE installations allows CO2 to be compressed, purified, and stored in bottles or tanker lorry The purification system is adapted to the composition of the recovered gas, in order very pure CO2 to obtain. The capacity of CO2 purification installations varies from a few tens kg/h to several t/h. CO2 is generally distributed by industrial gas companies.

CO2 DRY ICE PRODUCTION
CO2 ice is the compressed dry ice used for the conservation of meals on aircraft and the transport of deep-frozen products, shrinking and electronics, etc. CO2 ice is obtained by expanding liquid CO2 below the triple point. CO2 produced in this way is of very high quantity. AXIMA REFRIGERATION FRANCE installations allow the recovery, compression and re-liquefaction of gaseous CO2.
