Gas compressing using oil separation
The main components of these moto-compressor units are :
- An oil lubricated screw compressor and its motor.
- One or more oil separators, an oil cooler, oil filter and oil pump.
- Control and regulation equipment.
- Control and power switchboard.
The motor compressor unit is integrated into the manufacturing process as an "open loop".
The compressed gases come from various sources : Helium, carbon dioxide, natural gas, syngas, methane, hydrocarbon and coke gas, etc.
For very thorough oil separation (maximum content of a few ppb of oil in the gas), AXIMA REFRIGERATION FRANCE can achieve 3 successive levels of oil separation :
- Primary separation by gravity.
- Secondary separation over several stages by cartridge.
- Final separation over activated carbon filter.
